Our approach to creating your perfect menu begins with a catering consultation. Speak with our expert team online or face to face about your date, guest numbers, venue and vision.

Sample our food, try our fantastic cocktails & drinks, and observe our superior staff service and exceptional attention to detail, either at our offices or at a venue near you.

Final Preperations

10 workings days prior to the event we will arrange a final details meeting to confirm guest numbers, menus and pull together any finishing touches.

Complete Wedding Packages

We have created an example selection of special packages to help in the planning of your wedding. These packages can accommodate 40 or more guests and include everything you will need for the event: canapés and drinks, a three-course meal with wine, drinks for the toast and an evening buffet.

There are four options available, each with the ability to upgrade and change what’s on offer. From experience, we know these packages work really well.

If you’d prefer to handle food and drinks separately, our wedding drinks packages are also available on their own. To make your choice easy, below are four popular options. All prices are subject to VAT.

We have a dedicated vegetarian section across our menus, and we also cater for any special dietary requirements you let us know about. Whatever your guest list looks like, talk to us at your catering consultation and we’ll build it into your menu from the outset rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Our approach focuses on every detail. Your big day is a personal experience where you want everything to be just perfect, and our job is to make sure your wedding reception fits exactly with your expectations.

Gina, our experienced events director, is on hand to help with every aspect of planning your wedding catering. She’ll take you through the process from your first enquiry right up to your wedding day, so that all the vital details are covered well in advance.

Selecting your menu is a priority, and you’re not limited to a single fixed list. We offer canapés, finger buffets, bowl food, hot and cold fork buffets, three-course sit-down meals, table sharing menus, light evening buffets, BBQs and bespoke buffets — and you can mix and match across our menus to suit your day, your guests and your budget.

Of course come the big day the celebration is centred on the wedding reception itself. And to make sure you will be happy with everything we go through a process where you see our catering services at first hand.

To begin with it is our policy to let you see and taste our food. So we invite you to visit a Arens & Heriot Catering function near you to sample the food and look at the set-up.

There you’ll be able to meet with one of our Chefs, and go over any points on the menu. More to the point you will see first hand how the whole process works. To experience a little of a live environment will give you a real sense of what you can expect.

Your wedding venue

Your wedding venue is likely to match the kind of experience you want. This could be highly formal with large marquee or more intimate surroundings. We’ve worked with all types of venues and settings. Whatever you choose we can adapt. We do need a few basic necessities but even where they are limited our chefs have been known to improvise.

No. If you choose to bring your own drinks, our staff can serve them for you to the end of the meal.

We have a special deal on wines and Champagnes which offers excellent value for money.

Better than that, – we will take you to a function and show you!

We have catered for several hundred guests on many occasions.

We have four vans and four chefs, plus a large production kitchen. This enables us to cater for more than one function on the same day, with staff in hand should one fall ill or be on leave.

We would be delighted to arrange a free tasting, either at our offices or at a venue near you

Our catering manager will certainly assist you in your choice of wines to complement your meal. We also have ‘Bin Ends’ available at bargain prices!.

We are fully licensed, and would be pleased to set up a bar for your guests to purchase their own drinks.

We usually arrive on site one and a half to three hours before the guests, depending on the menu and number of guests.

We require a minimum deposit of £250 and is non-refundable.

Balance is due before the date of the function. You can pay by Bankers draft, Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque or BACS. Further details will be supplied with your contract.
